Ten people were arrested on Tuesday, Jan. 5, in a sting operation at an undisclosed Daphne hotel and charged with solicitation of prostitution, the Daphne Police Department announced.

Daphne police has released the names of the individuals who were arrested in the operation:

  • Newton Bartholomew Gordon, 35, of Foley
  • Terry Thad Sellers, 41, of Stapleton
  • Justin Edward Williams, 45, of Springville
  • Levi Perine, 44, of Mobile
  • Robert Henry Kolynych, 77, of Foley
  • Amir Hezikiah Wills, 25, of Mobile
  • Ronaldo Castro Bautista, 60, of Pensacola
  • George Holton Durenberger, 27, of Mountain Brook
  • Eddirane Treon Parker, 47, of Montrose
  • Brian Deshon Miller, 43, of Daphne

According to authorities, the operation was conducted by the Daphne Police Department in partnership with investigators from the Spanish Fort Police Department, Fairhope Police Department and Orange Beach Police Department. The Little Bird Project, a nonprofit that assists victims of exploitation, also aided law enforcement.

Lt. Jason Lazzari with the Daphne police told FOX 10 that the operation used digital techniques rather than traditional street patrol methods.

"Our guys that work on the taskforce have certain techniques that they use to facilitate this, and I don't want to go into too much detail on that as well, but we were at a local hotel and, you know, using that as a point of contact," Lazzari said.

Police are encouraging residents to report suspected human trafficking to local authorities. The National Human Trafficking Hotline is 888-373-7888.
