ROBERTSDALE, Alabama — Robertsdale High School held its 94th graduation ceremony on Tuesday, May 18 at J.D. Sellars Stadium in Robertsdale.

Following the presentation of colors by the RHS Naval Jr. ROTC and National Anthem by Francheska Campos, Principal Joseph Sharp introduced guests and addressed students, faculty and family, along with Class President Maggie Davis and SGA President Hunter Theodoro.

Sharp recognized students for academic and athletic achievement, including 25 honor graduates who earned a GPA of 4.0 or higher and three graduates who earned perfect attendance for all four years at RHS.

He also recognized those joining the military following graduation, retiring teachers and memorials to a student, Chase Langham, represented by a single candle in front of the stage, and Robertsdale’s Teacher of the Year William Peck, who was represented by an empty chair in the faculty area draped in white with a tie. Students, faculty and guests also wore ribbons to honor Peck, who died in February of COVID-related pneumonia.
