Young Professionals Summit to offer career insights, networking in Point Clear

Young professionals looking to build their careers and expand their networks will have an opportunity to do both at the 2025 Young Professionals Summit, hosted by the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce.

The event is set for Friday, March 21, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Grand Hotel Golf Resort & Spa, Autograph Collection located at One Grand Blvd in Point Clear.

Designed for professionals under 40, the one-day summit will focus on career development, industry trends and workplace skills. The event will feature a keynote presentation by Joel Hughes of Troy University, who will speak on "How to Handle Career Transitions."

Additional speakers include Lee Lawson of the Baldwin County Economic Development Alliance, Tori Holt of Novelis, Jason Schmitt, a certified public accountant and entrepreneur, and the Eastern Shore Toastmasters. Topics covered throughout the summit will include Baldwin County's economic growth, mental health in the workplace, communication strategies and public speaking.

Networking opportunities for attendees will follow at Bucky's Lounge.
