Where to celebrate Halloween with your little pumpkins

Pumpkins and hayrides and games, oh my! The 31 days of October are a non-stop festival for kids as the punch flows and the candy rolls. You can fill every weekend of the month with a fun family outing right here in Baldwin County.

The Pumpkin Patch Express
Hop on the train at Wales West in Silverhill and enjoy a ride to the pumpkin patch during the day. The train runs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday until Oct. 31. Make sure you are there before 7 p.m. At night this train plays host to ghouls and goblins. For tickets visit waleswest.com.

Baldwin County Pumpkin Festival
Enjoy a day of wholesome fun and traditional fall activities. Compete in the pumpkin Olympics, pick a pumpkin, listen to music and more. This festival, new to Baldwin County, runs every weekend of the month from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Baldwin County Fairgrounds in Robertsdale. Tickets are $8 online and $10 at the gate. Main Street Fall Fest
Help raise money for two of Daphne's schools with a frighteningly fun evening of games, prizes, inflatables, hayrides, a dunk tank, music, food and more. Find the festival at Daphne Elementary School, 2307 Main Street in Daphne on Oct. 6 from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. Cost is $15 for children ages 3-15 and is free for those 16 years and older.

Halloween at OWA
OWA, in Foley, celebrates the arrival of Halloween every weekend of the month with candy, costume contests, live music and trick-or-treat on repeat. Visit www.visitowa.com for a full schedule.

Foley Public Library Annual Halloween Extravaganza

Bring the family to this free carnival filled with fun and treats. Enjoy a bouncy house, mechanical bull ride, games and a petting zoo on Saturday, Oct. 22, from 4 – 6 p.m. at the Foley Public Library, 319 East Laurel Ave. in Foley.

Boo at the Zoo
Celebrate Halloween with the animals at the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo in Gulf Shores. The scare-free day will be full of trick or treating, activities and meet and greets with animal ambassadors. Head to the zoo on Saturday, Oct. 29, from 9 a.m. - noon. The day's events are included with regular admission.

Boo Fest at Flora-Bama
Bring the whole family to the Flora-Bama Yacht Club for the Annual Boo Fest event. The day will be full of fun-filled games, crafts, kids' costume contest and more. The fun will be Saturday, Oct. 29, from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Flora-Bama Yacht Club, 17350 Perdido Key Drive.

First Fairhope's Fall Festival
Games, pumpkins, food trucks - there is a full day of fun here at this annual event hosted at Street's Exquisite Plants & Aquatic Gardens in Fairhope in support of the missions of First Baptist Church of Fairhope. Stop by Saturday, Oct. 15, from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., 17750 Greeno Road in Fairhope.
