The Baldwin County Extension Service is seeking volunteers for its Master Environmental Education (MEE) training on Aug. 22.
The training session, which runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., will be held at the Gulf Coast Research and Extension Center, 8300 Hwy. 104, Fairhope.
MEE volunteers play a vital role in promoting environmental stewardship by educating students in public and private schools throughout the county. They cover essential topics such as backyard wildlife habitat, the water cycle, groundwater pollution, stormwater pollution, invasive plant species, Alabama Water Watch, recycling and energy conservation.
This free training is an opportunity for community members to engage in impactful educational outreach. Interested individuals must register by calling the Baldwin County Extension Office at (251) 937-7176 before Aug. 7.
