Spring is here, and it is time to refresh your yard and garden. The Baldwin County Master Gardeners (BCMG) are ready to help.
BCMG will hold its annual Spring Plant Sale this weekend on Highway 98 across from Weeks Bay Reserve, west of the Fish River Bridge. The sale runs from Thursday, April 4, through Saturday, April 6, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The popular sale will offer annuals, perennials, herbs, shrubs, trees, hummingbird and butterfly attractors, popular, heirloom and rare plants as well.
All proceeds from the sale are used to benefit the BCMG Scholarship Fund and community outreach projects.
Free garden workshops will be held each day at 10:30 a.m. Gently used garden items will also be available at the "Trash and Treasure table" with payment for those items by cash or check only.
For a full list of plants for sale visit the website at baldwinmastergardeners.com.
Master Gardener volunteers will be on-site to answer questions and help you select the best plants for your yard.
If you miss the sale and have gardening questions, you can call the organization's help line at 877-252-GROW (4769).
