Traditional Christmas party fun at "Holiday Cabaret"

FAIRHOPE — You'll laugh. You'll cry. You'll enjoy Susan's annual holiday party as if it was your own.

Theatre 98's production of "Holiday Cabaret" takes the audience through a night full of holiday cheer. The show introduces several new performers to guests who are introduced as friends and family of the night's Christmas party host. They then entertain with music, dancing and fun.

The show, said co-director Robin Ann Page, brings the holiday spirit and gives many members of the community a chance to showcase their skills, especially students in middle and high school.

"It's a fun holiday show and gives everybody a chance to play a role and show off their talent," she said.

Page, who also teaches acting at The Studio in Daphne, co-directs with Ashley Campbell. Campbell also served as director of Exit Stage Left's production of "Madagascar" in October.

The show runs this weekend only, Dec. 9 - 11. Theatre 98 is at 350 Morphy Ave. in Fairhope. For tickets visit www.theatre98.org
