Moms relying on Enfamil Gentlease, Enfamil AR or Reguline formulas might face stock issues after a tornado struck a formula distribution center. The Alabama Department of Public Health has announced temporary measures to ensure families can still get their full supply under the WIC program.
For those who usually buy the WIC-sized cans of these formulas, alternative container sizes are now permitted to meet monthly needs. Mixing larger cans with smaller ones is also allowed to achieve the required supply.

Families are encouraged to check their WIC benefits to determine the number of cans they can buy and take advantage of the mix-and-match option for sizes. These temporary measures are in effect through Sept. 1.
