SUMMERDALE, Alabama -- Crowds braved the cold as the town of Summerdale ushered in the season with its annual Christmas Parade and Christmas in the Park on Saturday.
Floats and vehicles were decked out, with the Summerdale Volunteer Fire Department ushering in Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Following the parade, hot chocolate was a welcome sight, along with other treats, including cotton candy and children of all ages lined up to have their photos taken with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
