"Peace, Love and Chicken Grease…”

Thomas Daniel Williams, Jr. went to be with our Heavenly Father on May 27, 2022. Danny was born on May 28, 1971, in Foley, Alabama to Thomas D. Williams, Sr. and Earline Kinley.

Danny Williams was the baby boy of three older brothers and one younger sister that he admired his entire life. He and his siblings grew up thick as thieves and was deeply loved by each of them. He especially wanted to do everything his big brothers did. One of their favorite memories is Danny riding on their motorcycles with them as a young child and growing older to doing wheelies on his own three-wheeler. He loved adventure and anything outdoors. Danny and his younger sister, Julie, would spend summers camping, fishing, and hunting in Arkansas with their grandparents.

Danny played high school football for the Foley Lions as a defensive end and was a “senior favorite" for the class of ’89. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Utah and South Korea.

Returning to Baldwin County after his service, he instantly reconnected with family and friends through the things he loved doing: boating, fishing, and being the life of the party.  Of all his accomplishments in life there was one thing Danny enjoyed the most, and that was bringing everyone together to celebrate life and have a great time, especially his family. He never missed a family event or any big life milestones for his friends and family. Days before his passing he made sure the entire family was together for his mother’s 81st birthday. He wanted to make sure it was a special day for her and that’s who Danny Williams was. If you got the pleasure of knowing him, you know he just wanted everyone to be together and would give you the shirt off of his back.

Danny was also a big kid at heart and had a special bond with each of his nieces and nephews. When they were younger, he would always make time for “Uncle Danny Day” where he would take all of his nieces and nephews for the day for outdoor adventures like the Ice Box and Waterville. They all still talk about it to this day as one of their favorite childhood memories and even joked with him about taking the newest Williams/Ybarra generation for their very own Uncle Danny Day.

If you know Danny, you know he truly loved the community of Orange Beach. He was active in fundraising for Toys for Tots and A Hero Foundation and recently had a successful fundraiser at the Wharf (The Elite Games) with Elite Realty, whom he held his active real estate license with. Memorial Day weekend was Danny’s favorite. He would bring everyone he could to Robinson Island for the “Island's Biggest Party” to celebrate those who have fallen for our freedoms along with his birthday. One thing is for certain, our community will always be connected through him. He brought us all together and will continue to through his memory.

Danny is preceded in death by his father, Thomas D. Williams, Sr. and his brother Jeff Ybarra.

Danny is survived by his loving Mother, Earline Kinley; Son, Brody; Daughter, Savannah Grace; Brothers, Chris (Barbara) and Anthony (Jenny); Sister, Julie. Nieces and Nephews, Carmen (Chris), Kristy, Anthony (Tiffany), Kristi, Lisa (Shane), Destiny, Jeffrey (Ksenia), and Hope.

Forever in our hearts, Rest in Peace Thomas Daniel Williams, Jr.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Christian Service Center of Gulf Shores, Alabama for Toys for Tots.
