Motorists traveling on eastbound Interstate 10 should prepare for a temporary ramp closure next week as crews carry out maintenance work.
The closure will affect Exit 35A, the eastbound ramp to Daphne, on Tuesday, Oct. 14, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Workers will install a high-mast light pole foundation as part of ongoing roadway lighting improvements aimed at enhancing safety and visibility along the interstate.
Drivers are advised to use the next exit, 35B, to access US-90/US-98 in Daphne. Officials encourage motorists to follow all detour signage, exercise caution in the work zone, and allow extra travel time.
