There may not be leprechauns, but there is definitely a pot of gold in downtown Foley.

A St. Patrick's Day themed program to promote local businesses and offer the public opporutnities to win prices is now running. Just purchase an item or service in a downtown Foley business between Feb. 17 and March 14 to participate in Lucky to Love Foley, a Foley Main Street event. It is easy — take a picture of your receipt — scan a QR code and upload your receipt. You will be entered to win a portion of the $1,500 pot of gold. It is full of gift certificates from downtown Foley businesses.

Don't miss the celebration at South Baldwin Social (115 W. Laurel Ave.) on March 20 at 5 p.m., where winners will be drawn. The winners will also be posted on Foley Main Street's Facebook and Instagram page by March 22 by 4 p.m. Incomplete receipts are null and void. No purchase necessary, just write "I love downtown Foley: on a piece of paper, take a picture and upload it the same way as a receipt.
