Two straight trips to the soccer Final Four have produced plenty of hardware for the Gulf Shores program. The girls’ team collected consecutive Red Map trophies as runners-up and the boys’ team added to last year’s runner-up finish with the program’s first-ever state title.
Plenty of Gulf Shores Dolphins brought home hardware in their sports this year and they were celebrated by the community Wednesday evening at LuLu’s.
Individual champions from tennis (Tereza Mojs) and wrestling (Landon Everett and Tia Titi) joined the soccer teams that just returned from their second straight Final Four. The boys’ team captured the program’s first Blue Map trophy and the girls’ squad earned another Red Map trophy as runner-up.
They were all given a champions welcome the only way the Gulf Shores community knows how: loud and proud on the water. Follow @GCMSportsAL on social media for more sights from the ceremony.
