FOLEY — The Chocolate & Cheese Festival returns to Foley's Heritage Park Saturday and organizers say it will be the biggest yet.

Due to the huge response to last year's festival organizers have made changes to add to the festival goers' experience.

"After the huge success of last year's festival, we've taken steps to reduce the waiting-in-line time by adding more food and snack vendors, more chocolatiers, more cheese booths, six lines for chocolate martinis and an express entrance when you pre-purchase entry tickets," said Lisa Yeater, president of Beach Life Events, the company organizing the festival.

The Chocolate & Cheese Festival features chocolatiers and cheese from around the world. All food and snack vendors feature cheese and chocolate menu items in addition to their regular menu items. To quench your thirst, festival goers can enjoy chocolate martinis, beer and wine. Take time to shop around at the various arts and crafts vendors, listen to live music or take the children on a pony ride.

10 a.m. – Festivities begin
10:30 a.m. – James Otto – two-time Grammy nominated star with seven top 40 hits
Noon – Cheese toss
12:30 p.m. – Chocolate cheesecake eating contest
1 p.m. – Almost Skynard – Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute
3 p.m. – Chocolate toss
3:30 p.m. – Beer stein holding
4 p.m. – Elton Live – The Ultimate Elton John Experience
7 p.m. – End of the 2022 Chocolate & Cheese Festival
