ROBERTSDALE — Seniors at the George P. Thames Adult Activity Center received a visit from a pair of special guests during the center’s monthly “Birthday Bash” held Wednesday, Dec. 8 at the center on East Chicago Street in Robertsdale.
Santa, along with a special guest helper, city employee Sonja Connor, were on hand to hear Christmas wishes and hand out presents.
The event also included a holiday meal with a choice of turkey or beef, along with sides and desserts, including birthday cake.
Special gift stockings were handed out to guests, along with prizes and special birthday presents for those celebrating birthdays in December.
Celebrating their birthdays in December were Dot Thorne, Dec. 1, Joan Kressler, Dec. 7, and Eddie Joan Bedwell, Dec. 26.
