The South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce recently commemorated the relocation of South Baldwin Medical Group's Primary Care facility in Foley with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Feb. 17.
The newly expanded and updated facility now serves as the relocated hub for South Baldwin Medical Group's Foley office, having moved across N. McKenzie Street. This move adds to the organization's growing footprint, with Primary Care facilities recently opened in Orange Beach and Gulf Shores, bringing the total South Baldwin Medical Group practices in Baldwin County to 22.
Leading the Foley facility is Dr. Eric Cheung, a seasoned family medicine specialist with over 14 years of experience in Foley. Dr. Cheung, the longest-serving physician within the South Baldwin Medical Group practices, is supported by Dr. Ian Gilson and Certified Nurse Practitioners Debbie Davis and Valerie Zieman.
As Baldwin County experiences rapid growth, the demand for medical services is on the rise. The new Primary Care facility aims to meet this demand by offering extended appointment availability, enhancing satisfaction levels among patients and community members alike. Dr. Cheung expressed enthusiasm about the relocation, noting that it has reinvigorated the staff and reinforced their commitment to providing top-notch medical care in south Baldwin County.
For those seeking a primary care physician, appointments can be scheduled at the South Baldwin Medical Group's Foley location by calling (251) 424-1130. Telehealth appointments may also be available for added convenience.
