FOLEY — The South Baldwin Chamber Foundation (SBCF) was formed in 2003 by the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce to enhance the lives of the students in the community as a non-profit, independent charitable foundation. It serves 13 local schools in the South Baldwin community.
On Saturday, Sept. 24, the SBCF will host its first Casino Night Fundraiser to raise funds to benefit those 13 schools.
The Casino Night Fundraiser is taking place at The Palms located at The Wharf in Orange Beach. Guests can play for fun on six to eight casino-like table games, enjoy food catered by Luna's Eat and Drink and hit up the cash bar. Feel the Beat Entertainment will provide tunes, and guests can hop into a digital photo booth by Cool Shots Photo Booth for a memento to remember the night.
Ticket holders receive $500 in "play chips" and one ticket to be entered into a prize raffle. No prize money will be given in exchange for playing chips. Gaming tables and equipment will be contracted through Bama Casino Company.
Tickets are $60 plus tax for single admission or $100 plus tax for couples. Purchase tickets online at the SBCF website (via Eventbrite) at https://bit.ly/CasinoNight22. All proceeds go to support SBCF programs and student/teacher grants.
Any local businesses or organizations looking to partner with the SBCF to help make the event truly special can become a sponsor. Donations for raffle prizes and auction items are also being accepted. To purchase a sponsorship or donate a raffle/auction item, contact SBCC Events Director Rachel Spear at rachel@southbaldwinchamber.com.
