SPANISH FORT, Alabama -- Alexa Lopez was crowned the first-ever Homecoming Queen for Snook Christian Academy during halftime festivities Friday night on The Hill at Spanish Fort High School.

Crowned by Snook Head of School Thad Butts, Alexa was escorted by her father, Jonathan Lopez.

The Queen’s Court included senior Callie Coxwell; junior Emma Ross; sophomore Katherine Koniar; freshman Malea Blackwell; eighth grader, Nola Chambers; and seventh grader Allison Anderson.

A homecoming parade was held Friday afternoon with players and cheerleaders marching with elementary school students along the sidewalk in front of the school and down the school’s main corridor through the cafeteria and onto the back lawn, where the Eagles hosted their second home-game pep rally. Prizes were awarded for classroom door decorations and “Spirit Stick.”
