Small town, big beach? Try small cheeseburger, big taste.
One of the fastest-growing brands in the restaurant industry, specializing exclusively in fresh, cooked-to-order cheeseburger sliders, is coming to Baldwin and Mobile, four times over.
Small Sliders announced earlier this summer two agreements to bring a total of 13 Cans, a shipping container painted the brand's signature "smorange" equipped with a drive-through, walk-up window and modular buildout, to Birmingham, Tuscaloosa and Auburn. Through this latest announcement, the four-person ownership group plans to target real estate in areas like Foley, Daphne, Tillmans Corner and Orange Beach, according to a news release from the company.
Small Sliders opened in 2019. With a background in health care and business, entrepreneurial team Hunter Beaugez, Taylor Rosson, Will Love and Jim Metteauer were introduced to Smalls Sliders by a current franchisee.
Sibling duo Beaugez and Rosson are eager to harness their professional experience in collaboration with Love and Metteauer, aiming to expand Smalls Sliders even further throughout Alabama.
"Smalls Sliders is truly a groundbreaking concept that is transforming the QSR industry," Beaugez said. "The remarkable growth we've seen, particularly in Alabama, highlights the immense potential of this fresh, innovative cheeseburger slider concept."
Since its inception, the Atlanta-based brand and brainchild of restaurateur Brandon Landry, which is led by industry veteran Maria Rivera, CEO, and backed by 10 Point Capital and former NFL star Drew Brees, as investors, has opened or is developing more than 290 Cans.
The first Can to serve the Baldwin and Mobile area is anticipated to open in 2025.
