Dauphin Island is set to transform into a hub of creativity and community spirit as the Dauphin Island Heritage and Arts Council (DIHAC) announces its upcoming event, "Corks for a Cause."
The fundraising gala, aimed at supporting free art classes for local children and preschoolers, will be held on Thursday, Sept. 5, from 6-8 p.m. at The Carriage, 1522 Bienville Blvd., Dauphin Island.
For $35 per person, attendees will indulge in a selection of delicious appetizers, enjoy live music and have access to a cash bar, all while contributing to a worthy cause. The highlight of the evening will be a silent auction featuring original artworks, offering guests a chance to take home one-of-a-kind pieces while supporting the arts education of young children in the community.
Tickets are limited and must be purchased in advance through the DIHAC website; no tickets will be available at the door, so secure your spot now.
