SILVERHILL — Residents in Silverhill and the surrounding areas were invited to spend a day with the Grinch on Saturday, Dec. 18 at Brodie’s Cream and Bean on Alabama 104.
“Everybody does Santa Claus,” said Lisa Brodie, who owns Cream and Bean with her husband Curtis and family. “We just wanted to do something a little different. Customers were lined up out the door for a full day of activities,” Brodie said.
The day began with story time, followed by a visit with the Grinch (James Long) and afternoon activities.
Attendees also enjoyed ice cream available for purchase with proceeds benefitting Maji Hope, which provides clean drinking water to villages in Africa.
