Gulf Shores City School’s Second Annual Dolphin Dash 5K and 1-mile Fun Run registration is open. The race takes place March 6 at 8 a.m. along West Beach Boulevard.

The Dolphin Dash 5k and Fun Run is a fundraising event, with all proceeds benefiting the PTSO organizations for Gulf Shores Elementary, Middle and High Schools.

The event starts and ends at the Gulf Place Town Green at the Gulf Shores Public Beach. The 5K begins at 8 a.m. and the 1-mile Fun Run begins at 9 a.m. Snacks, drinks and awards will be presented immediately following the race.

Entrance to the 5k Run, 5k Walk and 1-mile Fun Run is $25 until Feb. 21. Race packet can be picked up at Big Beach Brewery in Gulf Shores.
