Ronald Terry Halfacre, age 82, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Sunday, Feb. 19, 2023.

Ronald was a well-respected attorney in the oil and gas industry. He was a World War II historian and traveled extensively throughout Europe. Ronald began driving midget and sprint cars as a teen, and his support of the sport continued as a loyal fan. His pets were his children who he loved dearly.

Ronald was a loving and generous spirit who always put his family first. He spoiled his only child and spent all his free time with her and her husband. They had countless adventures together and lived life to the fullest.

Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Nell Boyd Halfacre.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Mary Helen Halfacre of Fairhope, Alabama; daughter, Elizabeth “Ebie” Hussey (Steven) of Fairhope, Alabama; granddaughter, Jacqueline Coulonge (Jayson) of Marston, North Carolina; sister-in-law, Jo Awtry of Locust Fork, Alabama; nephew, Jon Awtry and family of Austin, Texas; cousins, Mary Cole, Karen Cole both of Birmingham, Alabama; along with many other loving relatives and friends.
