Live music to family benefit there is something for everyone this weekend, March 18-20

Entertainment abounds in Baldwin County this weekend, so there is no reason to stay at home. Spring cleaning can wait until Monday. Our favorite events for this weekend range from live music to a benefit for a local family. If none of these events tickle your fancy, you can always head to Fairhope for the 70th Fairhope Arts and Crafts Festival.

Live at Five with Sister Hazel
What: Kick off Fairhope Arts and Crafts Festival weekend with a concert. The first Live at Five spring concert features headliner Sister Hazel with special guest Molly Thomas & the Rare Birds. While you remember Sister Hazel from their 1997 hit "All for You" they are now topping the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart.
When: Friday, March 18 from 5-10 p.m.
Where: Halstead Amphitheatre, 440 Fairhope Avenue, Fairhope

Price: Adult tickets are $25 and child tickets are $10. Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite.com.

Rider Family Benefit
What: Mariah Rider died Jan. 11, 2022, at 26 years old. Friends and family are holding a benefit event to support Rider's husband Ryan and young daughter Bristol Jane. The family friendly event will feature a silent auction, bake sale and bounce house. Guests can also purchase fried fish, pulled pork sandwich and hot dog dinner plates.
When: Saturday, March 19 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Elsanor Fire Department, 25940 Brewer Road, Robertsdale

Gulf Coast Mustang Mega Car Show
What: The Gulf Coast Regional Mustang Club (GCRMC) is bringing its annual car show at OWA. Admission into the show is open to contemporary and classic cars, trucks, Mustangs and motorcycles. The money raised from the car show is donated to charities that include the Ronald McDonald House and the transportation fund for the Hadji Shriners. To date the club has donated over $500,000 to local charities.
When: Saturday, March 19 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Baldwin Pops Concert
What: Join the city of Spanish Fort and the Baldwin Pops for a night of live music on the back pavilion of the Spanish Fort Community Center. Bring a blanket and lawn chairs and enjoy the free concert by the pond.
When: Sunday, March 20 at 6 p.m.
Where: Spanish Fort Community Center, 7361 Spanish Fort Boulevard, Spanish Fort
