The legend of Robin Hood may be rooted in England's Sherwood Forest, but this month, the rogue and his band of Merry Men are rumored to be making their way to Foley for a feast worthy of folklore.
The Copper Kettle Tea Bar will transform into a medieval escape on March 29 at 6 p.m., inviting guests to join an immersive Robin Hood-themed event. Attendees, encouraged to don their best roguish attire, can expect a night of feasting, entertainment and live-action sword fighting. Friar Tuck himself — or at least a worthy stand-in — will be on hand, offering his signature brews of tea.
To prove their loyalty to Robin's cause, guests must contribute $50 to the "Free the King" fund, securing their place at the table. Reservations are required and can be made by calling (251) 609-2832.
The Copper Kettle Tea Bar is located at 106 N. Chicago St. in Foley.
