A pair of teams returned to Baldwin County with Alabama High School Athletic Association state championships this fall and recently added to their jewelry case with some new rings.

The Orange Beach Makos won the Class 4A Varsity Game Day division for the cheerleading program’s first Blue Map trophy and the Spanish Fort Toros won the Class 6A volleyball state championship for the team’s fourth title and first since 2019.
