The Audiology & Hearing Aid Center of Premier Medical is once again offering the Gift of Hearing to five deserving members of the community.

In its sixth year, the annual giveaway provides new sets of hearing aids, offering a life-changing opportunity to individuals struggling with hearing loss.

Hearing loss, the third most common health issue in the U.S., affects not only individuals but also their families and loved ones. Untreated, it has been linked to cognitive decline, depression and social isolation, especially in older adults. Premier Medical aims to address this widespread issue through its initiative.

To be considered for the 2024 giveaway, individuals or those nominating someone else must submit a letter sharing their story. Nominations should include the nominee's first and last name, age, address, email (if applicable) and phone number. Nominees must be at least 18 years old and willing to undergo a free hearing test at one of Premier Medical's Audiology offices. Employees of Premier Medical and their families are not eligible.

Letters will be accepted from October 14 through November 8.
