A Pensacola man was caught red-handed inside a Foley business early Tuesday after allegedly breaking in through a hole he cut in the building’s wall, according to authorities.
Around 2:45 a.m., officers with the Foley Police Department responded to a burglary report in the 15000 block of State Highway 59. When they arrived, they found 52-year-old Patrick Odell Levens still inside the premises.
Investigators said Levens used a power tool to cut through the rear wall of the building to gain entry. Police believe he traveled from Pensacola, Florida, to commit the burglary and are investigating whether he may be connected to other similar crimes in Baldwin County.
Levens faces multiple charges, including third-degree burglary, first-degree criminal mischief and possession of burglary tools.
