Police investigate shooting of 26-year-old male in Foley, Alabama

Foley - The Foley Police Department responded to a report of a male subject with gunshot wounds at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center April 23, 2023, at approximately 3 p.m.

According to authorities, the victim was shot in the 1800 block of Airport Road in Foley. He was then transported to the hospital by a personal vehicle and dropped off at the emergency room.

The victim, identified as a 26-year-old male, was later transferred to Sacred Heart in Pensacola, Florida, where he underwent surgery for his injuries. The extent of his injuries are currently unknown.

The investigation into the shooting remains ongoing, and no motive or suspects have been identified . Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward and contact the Foley Police Department.
