FOLEY — A new dessert shop arrives to Baldwin County as Peach Cobbler Factory has opened its doors in Foley.

Located at 947 N. McKenzie Street, the establishment held its grand opening on Saturday, May 31, which along with serving food, featured several activities for guests such as cornhole, face painting and even a DJ. It is the second location to open in Baldwin County, with one also located in in Daphne at 6880 US Highway 90.

As the name suggests, Peach Cobbler Factory is a Southern-style dessert shop with its signature dessert being a cup of peach cobbler, which can be topped with vanilla ice cream. The establishment has several different fruit cobbler flavors, including strawberry, cherry, and blackberry among others. They also offer several varieties of banana pudding, cookies, cobbler milkshakes, banana pudd-n shakes, cinnamon rolls, cobbler brownies, Belgian waffles and churros with six sauce choices.

"Please come by and see us! We are looking forward to serving the community," said manager Taneka Clausell, stating she didn't think Foley had anything else like them.

Peach Cobbler Factory is open every day from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
