Tropic Falls at OWA topped the Most Affordable Amusement Parks list released by Home ToGo this week. The list compared the average cost of an admission ticket, parking and nearby vacation rentals. 

Home ToGo, a vacation rental marketplace ranked 30 theme parks across 19 states. The list compared many of the most popular theme parks across the country to uncover both budget-friendly and top dollar options for those planning upcoming vacations. 

At the top of the list, Tropic Falls at OWA is a deal averaging $95.16 per person, per day. The theme park features 23 rides ranging from the Rollin’ Thunder coaster to spinning teacups. The prices used in the index were the current online adult ticket price of $22.49, free parking and the average nightly accommodation per person of $72.67. It is important to note the ticket price of $22.49 is for the theme park only.  

Tropic Falls Indoor Water Park at OWA is currently under construction and scheduled to open summer of 2022. The water park will be the region’s largest indoor water park and feature a 300,000 square-foot wave pool, 142-foot-tall slide and tropical atmosphere. Ticket prices have not been released. 

“With summer on the horizon, we’re excited to be able to offer travelers a helpful pricing guide for America’s most popular theme parks so they can enjoy a fun-filled theme park getaway at any budget,” said Caroline Burns, head of public relations and travel expert at Home ToGO. 

“While ticket prices have seen an overall increase, we’re pleased that the index revealed that some of the best theme parks across the country are accessible for a fraction of the price compared to those in states like Florida and California," she said.
