The second-annual Orange Beach Freedom Fest kicks off Friday, Sept. 30, at The Wharf. The festival will celebrate America at its best with food, arts and crafts, cars, motorcycles, jeeps and music.

The family-friendly event has expanded to a three-day festival in its second year with the addition of the inaugural Fall Bama Coast Cruisin' event and a benefit concert headlined by John Rich.

The Wharf will be filled with arts and crafts vendors, entertainment and children's activities starting Friday, Sept. 30, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Stop in before the ZZ Top & Jeff Beck concert Friday.

Event organizers promise a food selection that rivals recent festivals. In addition to the restaurants at The Wharf, visitors will have the choice between ribs, pulled pork, burgers, Cajun pistols, gumbo, grouper tacos and more to choose from.

The Fall Bama Coast Cruisin' begins Thursday, Sept. 29, at 8 a.m. To register your vehicle or learn more about the event, visit bamacoastcruisin.com.

The Marshals will hold the Second-Annual Let Freedom Roar Run and Rally Saturday, Oct. 1, with a motorcycle and Jeep parade around noon. The event benefits Youth-Reach Gulf Coast. The event will stage in the Orange Beach Event Center parking lot and in the marina parking lot and lawn. Tickets for the rally are $25 for Jeeps and $10 for motorcycles and can be purchased on Eventbrite.com.

Freedom Fest organizers have put together a great lineup of live music that will keep the event rocking all day Friday and Saturday. The lineup schedule is:

The festival will wrap up Sunday, Oct. 2, with a concert benefiting Folds of Honor at The Wharf Amphitheater. Folds of Honor, a nonprofit that helps provide families of fallen and disabled service members educational scholarships.

The event kicks off with keynote patriotic speakers Ben Walborn of the U.S. Navy Blue Angles at 1 p.m. and U.S. Navy SEAL Kevin Lacz. The music begins at 1:30 p.m. with Bruce Smelley before headliner John Rich takes the stage at 2 p.m. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased from Ticketmaster. Tickets range from $20 to $34. Tickets can also be purchased in person at The Wharf Ticket Office.
