The Orange Beach Middle & High School (OBMHS) Class of 2025 will graduate on Thursday, May 22 as one of the most accomplished senior classes in the school's history.
This marks the second consecutive year that OBMHS will graduate 100% of its seniors — a rare and celebrated achievement statewide.
In addition to a perfect graduation rate, 100% of the Class of 2025 earned college and career-ready credentials, reinforcing Orange Beach City Schools’ commitment to preparing students for life beyond high school. This class's legacy includes not only academic success but also statewide recognition for leadership, character and excellence in athletics and school safety.
In large part due to the leadership of this senior class, OBMHS was awarded:
● The Attorney General’s Safe School Award, which recognizes efforts to ensure a secure and supportive learning environment.
The Class of 2025 is the first to graduate with students who have attended only Orange Beach schools from kindergarten through graduation.
Superintendent Randy Wilkes credits the exceptional leadership of the Student Government Association — President Alex Addison and Vice President Libby Tierce — for elevating the culture of the school.
“Alex and Libby are more than student leaders — they are visionaries who inspired their classmates to live out The Mako Way, our system’s belief framework built on character, unity and purpose,” said Wilkes. “Their leadership helped bring The Mako Way to life — not just in words, but in action.”
The Class of 2025 leaves behind a lasting legacy and a model for future classes to follow.
