The new Athletic Complex coming to the Orange Beach Sportsplex will be well stocked with snacks and drinks thanks to a four-year partnership with Buffalo Rock Company.
Announced on Thursday, the agreement makes Buffalo Rock the official beverage and snack vendor of the Makos where they will bring a variety of products, including PepsiCo and Gatorade brands, to the new concession stands that are set to be open this summer in Orange Beach.
The beverage and snack company will not only provide sustenance to the Mako community but also partner with the school system as a Diamond Level sponsor for the duration of the four-year agreement.
“Buffalo Rock’s support not only strengthens our school community but also enhances the experiences of our students, families, and athletes,” said Orange Beach Superintendent Randy Wilkes. “We are excited to have their premium products available at the new Athletic Complex. Buffalo Rock's commitment to our school and the broader Orange Beach community will have a lasting impact on the growth and success of our students.”
From the company’s perspective, the partnership serves as another step toward bridging the gap between Buffalo Rock and the communities they serve.
"Buffalo Rock is proud to partner with Orange Beach City Schools, reinforcing our commitment to the community,” said Shannon Justice, Buffalo Rock’s Franchise General Sales Manager in Pensacola. “We look forward to fueling students, athletes, and fans with our trusted products and enhancing the game day experience at the new Athletic Complex.”
Established in 1901, Buffalo Rock has an office in Mobile on top of eight other Alabamian locations, including Dothan, Montgomery and Huntsville, as well as three in Georgia and two in Florida.
“This significant sponsorship underscores Buffalo Rock's ongoing support for the overall development of all Orange Beach students, helping to enhance the resources and opportunities to succeed academically, artistically, and athletically,” a Thursday press release says. “The partnership between Orange Beach City Schools and Buffalo Rock is a testament to the strong community bonds that support local education programs. The new Athletic Complex will be an engaging resource for student-athletes and fans, and Buffalo Rock’s trusted products will enhance every game day experience.”
