The North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce hosted its 2nd Annual Ladies Leadership Luncheon on July 17 at the John F. Rhodes Civic Center, with Novelis serving as the event's presenting sponsor.
The luncheon featured a lineup of dynamic guest speakers, including Lee Ann Cain, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Thomas Hospital and Vice President of Pharmacy Services for Infirmary Health; Bridget Wilson, Executive Director of the South Alabama Workforce Development Council; Kayland Lamar, an educator and personal development coach; and keynote speaker Lucy Greer, Vice President of Deli Bakery Operations and corporate spokesperson for Greers Markets. Chasity Riddick, Communications Manager for the Baldwin County Public School System, served as the emcee.
Attendees enjoyed a variety of activities including a floral arrangement demonstration by Julie Daw, owner of Blooming Fabulous, a fashion show showcasing local boutiques and a silent auction featuring a diverse selection of items. The luncheon, catered by Pearl & Addies Café, provided a delicious meal and fostered an atmosphere of empowerment and community.
The Ladies Leadership Luncheon was created with the intention of being a fun and local event aimed at empowering women through inspiring speeches, friendly table decorating competitions and excellent food. The event aligns with the Chamber's mission to highlight why North Baldwin is an exceptional place to live, work, shop, eat and play.
