It's back, bigger and still the best celebration in Baldwin County.

It is time to nominate your favorite businesses, people, restaurants and more for their chance to be named Best of Baldwin 2023.

More than 105,000 nominations were made by Gulf Coast Media readers in 2022. The winners, voted on by customers, readers and the general Baldwin County community enjoyed a red-carpet gala and dinner last year to celebrate their achievements.

This year has new and improved categories, and regular participants will see the return of fan favorites in more than 400 categories. From best school mascot and best fried shrimp to best art gallery and best medical, automotive, professional, home and finance services, Best of Baldwin is a peer-reviewed celebration of all the great people, places and things you can find right here, whether you call this county home or need a guide while you're here on vacation.

To place your nominations now through Oct. 5, go to www.gulfcoastmedia.com/bestof2023.

Use the write-in feature to add a nomination. Gulf Coast Media staff will approve nominations generally every 24 hours. The top five nominees in each category will be named finalists and move on to the voting round, which begins Oct. 19. Users can vote once per day. No subscription to Gulf Coast Media is required to nominate, be nominated, vote or win.

Finalists who receive the most votes will be celebrated at Best of Baldwin 2023: The Red Carpet Event at the Orange Beach Event Center on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2023. Winners will also be featured in the annual Best of Baldwin glossy magazine, on the winners' website and will receive a free framed certificate and window cling.
