Dr. DiGiorgi brings expertise in minimally invasive valve and coronary artery bypass surgeries, robotic thoracic procedures and complex mitral valve repairs. His proficiency extends to advanced technologies like Impella devices, which enhance blood flow, and ECMO, a life-support technique for patients with severe heart or lung conditions.

A graduate of New York University School of Medicine, he completed residencies at NYU School of Medicine, Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in New York, and the University of Connecticut Health Center. His career includes leadership roles such as President of the Florida Society of Thoracic & Cardiovascular Surgeons and various chair positions at Lee Health. Among his accolades is the Castle Connolly Top Doctor honor, which he received as recently as 2018.
