Blues-rock duo New Age Phonograph will perform at Fairhope Brewing Company on Saturday, April 19, as part of their 2025 tour.
The Oregon-based band, known for its energetic performances and soulful, Americana-infused sound, will showcase original music from their two albums, including their latest release, "The Old Ball and Chain."
Formed in 2017, the duo consists of Matthew Nolan, who handles lead vocals, guitar, foot drums and harmonica, and Randi Mueck, who plays bass guitar, percussion and provides vocals. Hailing from the Myrtle Creek and Roseburg area in Oregon's Umpqua Valley, the pair blends blues-rock with jazz influences and Americana folk, creating a style that pays homage to legends such as Creedence Clearwater Revival, Bob Dylan, The White Stripes, Howlin' Wolf and Jimi Hendrix.
"Two voices, four instruments, and a whole lotta sound," the band promises. Their performances are known for mixing gritty blues riffs with smooth folk-inspired melodies, delivering a sound that feels both modern and rooted in classic rock. With a touch of humor and personality, New Age Phonograph offers a lively, crowd-pleasing experience.
Their music, including "The Old Ball and Chain," is available on Bandcamp at www.newagephonograph.bandcamp.com. More information about the band and upcoming tour dates can be found at www.newagephonograph.com.
