Posted

The Baldwin County Chapter #531 of National Sojourners presented the City of Foley with a ‘thank you’ plaque featuring the Toast to the Flag during the Monday, Dec. 6 meeting. Pictured here, Fred Steiner, vice president of the Baldwin County Chapter of National Sojourners, presents Foley Mayor Ralph Hellmich with the plaque. The presentation was made to thank the city for allowing the National Sojourners to host National First Responders Day on Saturday, Oct. 23 at Heritage Park. The event was to honor local first responders and veterans. First responders came from multiple municipalities to participate. The Sojourners hope to host the event annually, and want to see it grow to include first responders from the entire county.
