Myrna May While, age 87, of Gulf Shores Alabama, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Mon., Sept. 16, 2024.  Myrna’s greatest devotions in life were centered around her family, friends and in God. She was met at heaven’s gates by her husband, Charles E. While, daughter, Wendy (Chris) McCammon, mother, Claudia Emma Trimper, sister, Deborah “Deb” Falstad, and many other beloved family members.

Left with the memories of her love are daughter, Pam Eckhardt of Foley, Alabama; grandsons Dave and Mike (fiancé, Queenie Rose) Eckhardt.  Son, Scott (Andrea) While of New Braunfels, Texas; grandchildren Hannah, Jonah, Jonathan and Noah While.  Daughter, Cindy Moore of Bloomington, Illinois; grandsons Luke and Tyler Moore.  Brother, William “Bill” (Sharon) Trimper of Georgetown, Texas.  Nephew, Graham (Mary) Trimper of Lake Elsinore, California.  Nephew, Brett (Laurie Merrick) Trimper of Garden Grove, California.  Niece, Christie (Michael) Trimper Bartusick of Huntington Beach, California. Niece, Jessica (Ryan) Howe, of Bloomington, Illinois.

Myrna was born in Glenburn, Pennsylvania in 1937.  She graduated from Metamora High School, Metamora, Illinois in 1955.  Myrna worked at State Farm Insurance, owner of While and Son Electric, and dedicated many years staying at home to care for her children in Bloomington, Illinois.  She and her husband, Chuck, moved to Gulf Shores in the 1990’s where they enjoyed playing tennis, entertaining very special friends, and worshiping in fellowship at First Baptist Church Gulf Shores.

Funeral services will be held Sat., Sept. 28, 2024, at First Baptist Church Gulf Shores, 2200 W. 1st Street, Gulf Shores, Alabama.  Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. with funeral services at 10:00 a.m.  Memorials may be donated to First Baptist Church Gulf Shores in memory of Myrna.
