Baldwin County deputies arrested a Mobile Police Department officer after he reportedly tried to buy an illegal, controlled substance from an undercover agent working with the Baldwin County Drug Task Force.
Sgt. Chris Reed arrived at a location in Fairhope in his unmarked city vehicle and was taken into custody without incident, according to a news release. The narcotics operation that led to his arrest took place on Aug. 13.
