Mobile airports scheduled to reopen Jan. 23 at noon after ice, snow cleared from Enzo

Posted

Mobile Regional and Mobile International Airports are scheduled to reopen at noon today, Thursday, Jan. 23, for commercial service.

Runway conditions have improved and crews are actively working to clear the remaining ice. The Mobile Airport Authority encourages travelers to check directly with their airlines for the latest flight updates.

Also, Pensacola International Airport’s (PNS) commercial operations resumed on Thursday, Jan. 23, after closures due to Winter Storm Enzo.

The airport encouraged passengers to contact airlines directly to confirm up-to-date information regarding specific flight status, stating it is up to the airline’s discretion as to when they will return service to and from PNS.
