Mike was a man of passions and pursuits that defined his character. Mike could often be found working on many different projects in his workshop and was always ready to help anyone. An avid Hunter, and fisherman, he often relished the tranquility of the great outdoors, sharing countless adventures with friends who became like family over the years. His love for nature, mirrored his generosity and kindness, traits that made him a pillar in the community.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Donnajean Coursey, with whom he built a life filled with shared dreams and laughter, in Daphne, Alabama. Mike leaves behind four loving children: Heather Coursey Henderson (Max) of Goldsboro, North Carolina; Carol Turberville (Charles) of Spanish Fort, Alabama; Michael Lee Edington, Junior of Daphne, Alabama; and Michael Lee Coursey Junior of Mobile, Alabama.
