Mary L. Hunsaker Tarleton, age 98, born in Alto Pass, Illinois, and a resident of Bay Minette, Alabama, died Sunday, Sept. 4, 2022, at her daughter's residence in Summerdale. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Ken Tarleton of Houston, Texas; two daughters, Sharon Williamson of Summerdale, Alabama and Janet Pinkerson of Bay Minette, Alabama; seventeen grandchildren; forty great grandchildren; and thirty-six great great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Tarleton; three sons, Robert Holifield, Ronnie Holifield and Tommy Tarleton; two daughters, Patricia Phillips and Linda Cruz; two brothers, Gene Hunsaker and James Ogle Hunsaker; two sisters, Evelyn Smith and Delores Connell; and two grandchildren, Tina Bush and Randall Johnston.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022, at 1 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with Chaplain Alphonso Petway officiating. Burial followed at Silverhill Cemetery in Silverhill, Alabama.
The family received friends Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022, from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Eddie Phillips, Jeremy Hobbs, Daniel Murphy, Christopher Murphy, Brandon Johnston and Jesse Williamson.
