Marjorie (Margie) Hollis Robinson, born Oct. 11, 1933, a native of Covington, Kentucky and a longtime resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Jul. 11, 2024, with her children, and her adopted sister “Barb” by her side.
She moved to Mobile when she was 14 years old. After graduation, she moved to Fairhope where she met Harold on a blind date. She was nominated into the Baldwin County Women’s Bowling Association and Board of Directors as Treasurer for 20 years. She served as President of Fairhope Girls Softball for 10 years and was a Brownie and Girl Scout Leader for over 15 years. Margie loved the Fairhope community and loved to serve.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents, Phil & Mabel Hollis; her husband, Harold Robinson; daughter, Debbie Parish; sisters, Ruth Taylor and Doris Hollis; son-in-law, Jim Morgan; grandsons, Rob Parish and Ty Morgan.
She is survived by daughters, Shari Morgan and Renae Robinson; grandchildren, Marja Morgan, Caron Ragland, Tonya Norsworthy and Troy Morgan and Chrissy Ingle; great grandchildren, Addison Parish, Hunter Ward, Caitlin Ragland, Colbie Ragland, Zeke Kittrell, Starr Basham and Lily; brother and sister-in-law, Philip “Andy” (Marie) Hollis; sisters-in-law, Marlene Robinson and Virginia Hermetz; special friends Barbara Ragland, Joanne Brown and Cathy Gilmore; nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and dear friends.
Visitation will be held Sun., Jul. 14, 2024, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. Funeral services will be held at Fairhope Christian Church on Mon., Jul. 15, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
