Foley Police have arrested one man in connection with a shooting Friday night at a bar.
Police officials said on Saturday evening, Sept. 17, just after 2 a.m., officers responded to 3rd Base Sports Bar, on U.S. Hwy 98 after reports of a shooting.
There they found Gary Patterson, 48, of Foley, had suffered a gunshot wound to the forehead following a physical altercation with another person.
The person that shot Patterson had fled from the location. Patterson was flown to University Hospital in Mobile by Medstar AirCare. Officials say his injuries do not appear to be life threatening at this time and he is in stable condition.
Investigators determined Terrance Andre Hayes, 36, of Foley, shot Patterson.
On Sunday Foley police located and arrested Hayes. He was charged with one count of assuault in the first degree and one count of possession of a firearm. Both charges are felonies.
