Loxley man, 58, dies in Mobile County after car strikes tree

A Loxley man died early Monday morning in a car crash in Mobile County.

According to a news release from Senior Trooper Anna Peoples of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Wyatt W. Barnhill, 58, was critically injured when the 2018 Ford F-150 he was driving left the roadway on Jack Williams Road, about five miles west of Semmes, and struck a tree about 2:30 a.m. May 15.

Barnhill was transported to University Medical Hospital in Mobile, where he succumbed to his injuries.

No more information was released by ALEA. The agency is continuing to investigate the incident.
