Loxley Library announces winners of Christmas light contest

LOXLEY — The Loxley Public Library has announced the winners of the third annual Light Up Loxley! Christmas light contest.

The first-place winner, located at 15279 Timber Ridge Drive, received half of the total entry fees for the contest, which ended up being $150 with 10 participants and five silent donors.

Honorable mentions, 86 Meadowwood Drive and 4246 N. Magnolia Street, received $50 gift cards, coated by Fish River Mercantile.

Two additional prizes were awarded, thanks to donations from local businesses.

Residents of 25113 Raynagua Blvd. received a $25 gift certificate donated by Sea & Steak Restaurant, and residents of 3171 Municipal Park Drive received a $25 gift certificate donated by Loxley Discount Drug.

Additional participants included 25393 Monarch Court, 27353 Brightway Crossing in the Charmont Subdivision, 1062 S. Magnolia St., 82 Meadowood Drive and 84 Meadowood Drive.

“In addition to pur participants, a huge thank you goes out to our local businesses for their donations, including Signarama for the yard signs,” said Loxley Librarian Patty Hudson. “We wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.”
