Local student Ricky Parker was recently awarded a $2,500 Remarkable Futures Scholarship from Chick-fil-A. Parker, a 17-year-old senior of Daphne High School, works at Chick-fil-A Daphne.
Parker plans to attend Auburn University in the fall. According to a release, Parker has been praised for his work ethic, leadership skills, caring approach to restaurant guests and his academic achievements.
"We are incredibly proud of Ricky and commend him for his positivity and hard work," said Daniel Nance, local restaurant Operator of Chick-fil-A Daphne. "Chick-fil-A is honored to play a small role in his continuing education, and we look forward to watching him chase his dreams."
