Little Lagoon Preservation Society invites public to July meeting

The Little Lagoon Preservation Society (LLPS) has announced its upcoming meeting and all those interested are invited to attend.

The meeting will take place on Thursday, July 18, at the Gulf Shores Activity Center, located at 260 Clubhouse Drive. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with an opportunity for socializing, accompanied by light refreshments.

At 6 p.m., attendees will have the privilege of hearing from guest speaker Cade Kistler with Mobile Baykeeper.

Kistler, who is the Baykeeper for LLPS, will provide insights into Mobile Baykeeper's initiatives, including their Oyster Gardening Program, efforts to monitor wastewater pollution in the Bay area and strategies for ensuring swimming safety amidst potential pollution concerns.
